Hello from the tribe of Asher! God has blessed us with so much truth from Mrs. Gwen Shamblin as she is obeying God in everything. We are grateful for her life, her sacrifice and her example of the most godly woman on the face of the earth! The camp work book is so full of life changing truth that we see the fruit it has produced in our lives & the girls of Asher’s lives. We are witnessing more love, obedience, joy, faith by answered prayers and patience this summer.
God allowed us to learn from Mrs. Gwen this week that Remnant Fellowship is different & special because all of our ministries are connected to Him. God is the source of energy & life and through this energy we all stay connected. She said the connection is made through saints helping one another and as the saints grow stronger they can reach out & help other saints.
Parents Mrs. Gwen presented all the ministries available in the Remnant and how great it is that based on your daughter’s gift that they can start serving now! To help with our connection to God & one another the tribe of Asher was given a list of saints to serve. An email will be coming with a list of names & our hope is that each family will adopt a saint from the list to encourage all year long. How exciting is this!!!!
Monday, July 22: Asher leads morning devotional please be @ camp @8:30am & wear white. We also will be serving counselors & special guests lunch & swimming Monday afternoon. July 23, “Tea Party Tuesday” wear a nice dress for our tea party. July 24, JC Field Trip & July 25 last day of camp fun activities all day. It’s been an honor to serve God, His saints & His Kingdom this summer. Ruth & I are eternally grateful for your prayers, love & the yummy meals & treats. THANK YOU!!!
