It has always been on Gwen’s heart to take the best care of our visitors and because of this a committee was formed years ago to meet this need.  The Visitor Team at the Remnant Fellowship Church has been very busy and very blessed over the last few months!  The team helps organize and facilitate lunch gatherings and other Fellowship opportunities for Remnant Fellowship Members who are visiting from out of town and for Remnant Fellowship Visitors – both local and from around the country.

David Rector has done a great job helping organize gatherings in homes and restaurants that have provided great encouragement, fellowship and fun.  This past Saturday we gathered at the home of Dan and Rebecca Jackson.  The Jacksons have been very selfless and gracious guests and have opened their home frequently for these events.  When asked about all of the hospitality they have shown since moving here, they replied:

“Dan and I have always wanted to make our home open for those seeking God’s will.  We are always so happy and blessed to serve and so encouraged to hear the stories of changed lives.”

The Jackson’s were joined by the Angers, the Peters, the Porters, the Radebaughs, the Laws,  the Vandermalles, the Haydens, the Macphersons, Mark Jost, Rob Day, Ralf Spredemann, Dawn White and many children.  Along with them were many visitors including:

Daniel and Amanda Baker with their daughters from California, Alisha Moore and her two sons from Ohio, Nicole Williams who is Dawn White’s niece and her daughter Brianna (they recently moved to Brentwood from New Jersey), Deona Sadler from Spring Hill who returned to Weigh Down from the 90’s and who attended her first Assembly this past Wednesday and Carol Benson who has been visiting locally for some time now.

Our time together was incredibly blessed filled with testimony of our changed lives, praises to God for being brought to this beautiful message and for the Awesome Assembly we all just participated in and much much joy and encouragement!!!  There is nothing better after one of our blessed Assemblies then to gather with brothers and sisters, new and old and recount how blessed we are, to talk about what parts of the sermons or testimonies hit our hearts, and to drive home the beautiful Truths we just heard.  That’s a buffet you dont want to miss!

God has been so generous with the fellowship and all of the incredible encouragement He provides for us.  We can’t possibly praise Him enough!  If you have ever been interested in encouraging the visitors and hosting events please feel free to click on the “I Want To Volunteer Now Button” and let us know.  See you at the next event!
