There isn’t any quick way to add up the thousands upon thousands of HOURS of audio and video material that Gwen Shamblin and this Ministry and Church has produced over a quarter century’s worth of time…and that is a fountain of information that keeps flowing, with no signs of slowing down! And the written word also is powerful as it runs through this Ministry and Church…with fresh material published on a steady basis. What started as one person’s relationship with GOD…and sharing that publicly…has mushroomed into a worldwide publishing and production effort. The goal is and always has been to REACH the world and to let them know about this great GOD who created everything that we see and do not see. We love to proclaim that He is GOOD, and He desires a relationship with anyone who will seek Him with a whole heart. And because this effort has stretched over such a long period of time thus far, the MEDIUMS through which the message is communicated has stayed consistent with the advances in technology. Weigh Down started with cassette tapes, workbooks, and VHS tapes. We then added CDs, downloadable online workbooks, and DVDs. We now offer this message with the option to be COMPLETELY taken ONLINE. And yes, we connect with our participants through Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest. We have pledged to use whatever forms of media within our reach that will connect with the world in the way that works best for them. We praise GOD that He has seen fit to allow us to webcast, broadcast, and share publicly in real-time around the world. We praise GOD that our online TV show, “You Can Overcome,” is reaching multiple countries and time zones. We are thankful to GOD that our online resources WDWB and Truthstream can be accessed by computers, tablet devices, and mobile phones worldwide…anytime of the day or night.
