REMNANT FELLOWSHIP MINISTRIES – MUSIC UPDATES – THE HOSANNA SYMPHONY IS COMING…THIS DECEMBER! – 10/4/13
This Remnant Fellowship certainly does not LACK for Truth, fellowship, encouragement, and plenty of MUSIC! Not only do we have original worship music…but we also have a Handbell Choir, Vocal Choirs of varying ages (Adults, Middle School, Children, Choral Group), our Praise Band, our Chamber Orchestra, and LOTS of Saints with gifts of singing and/or playing an instrument. The sheer number of SONGS that have been inspired by Gwen’s messages over the years is staggering. On top of ALL of that, GOD has given Michael Shamblin an incredibly unique vision and collection of songs that have become what we in this Church know as the “HOSANNA SYMPHONY.” This “Viewsical” was originally put together and produced, with direction from Gwen Shamblin, back in 2006. We performed it in December of that year…then again in the Spring of 2007 and in December of 2007. Fast forward to 2010 and we performed it in December of that year as well. And we are EXCITED to say that we are planning to perform it yet again in just two months! MARK DOWN the dates of December 13th and 14th for a powerful, encouraging, convicting, and entertaining HOSANNA SYMPHONY weekend!
The Cast and Crew have begun their preparations, and if you have not actually SEEN the Symphony performed yet, you are in for a treat! This “Viewsical” isn’t just a few songs revolving around the life of Christ. It isn’t a “Christmas” production like what you may have seen before in past churches. This Symphony is full of REVELATIONS! These are 100 percent ORIGINAL songs, lyrics, and ideas…given by GOD from the Heavens…working through both Gwen and Michael and a Cast and Crew of humble Saints. Read these words penned by Gwen – in advance of our first performance of the Symphony nearly seven years ago. The words hold true today…just as they did back then.

The more the choir, musicians, and writers got out of the way, the faster they connected to the brilliance and giftedness of the Source of all music and drama. Our God is so much more delightful, engaging, and brilliant than anyone gives Him credit for. I know the direction for this came from God and not from a human source because not only does it rival other historically noteworthy productions, but it came through people who do not do this professionally. Praise You, God! My prayer is that people see that God works through those who have given their heart, soul, mind, and strength to Him alone, so they may find their way home. I love You, God!”
AMEN! Mark your calendars…and please PRAY for ALL aspects of this production. This is about so much more than just a “performance.” It’s direction, music, video, lighting, audio, sets, staging, wardrobe, makeup, decoration, building and grounds preparation, fellowship planning, ticketing, evangelism, travel, planning…and so much more! We hope to see YOU this coming December at the “HOSANNA Symphony” 2013!
