June, 2014 -Rueben, Summer Day Camp –
Dear Parents, we are honored to be with your boys’ this summer. Our focus is our Connection with God and as we were led to continue to develop the Characteristics of Christ! We look forward to getting to know and spending the day with each of your boys!
Tribe Location: The Eagle Room
New this summer: 9:00-9:30 is Tribe Devo and Focus Up time in the Eagle room. The all camp Devo is moving to 1:00 this summer, and Devo Webcasts will be Tuesdays at 1:00!
Field Trip Schedule: Mark your calendars for Thursday, June 19th and Monday, July 14th! More details will follow.
Supply List: Please put your child’s name on everything they bring!
– A grateful and loving heart
– Bible
– Swim suit that can be left at camp
– Lunch and plenty to drink (nothing that needs to be refrigerated or microwaved)
– Please make sure your child wears socks and tennis shoes each day
– Boys need to come with sunscreen that was applied at home each morning. Please send sunscreen /face screen that can be applied after the morning swim time as well as insect repellent.
– We need to wear or bring the grey connection Camp Shirt each Tuesday for webcast!
We will provide the rest of the materials: workbooks, pencils, towels, and snacks!
Our first memory verse is Col 3:12-14. The boys are learning that we get to put on our spiritual clothing each day by putting these beautiful characteristics of Christ into practice. Join us if you can on Wed June 18 @ 1pm as Reuben get to lead camp devo time

God has provided perfect weather. The boys have been able to swim in the morning. We had our first Camp Webcast that was so exciting! Our afternoons are times of free play outside or inside with books and building materials. The boys share great times getting to know each other. Making pizza together was so much fun this week. And it was a wonderful lunch to share with others. Thank you for sending all the supplies needed
