Good afternoon, Simeon parents!
What an amazing message on Saturday! I am ready to put all of these words into practice and not be half-hearted in anything! I can’t wait to be back with your sweet boys on Monday! I look forward to my time with them every week!
A few notes regarding this up coming week:
1. Your child was sent home with their workbook on Thursday; please make sure it is brought back with them to camp! If it was misplaced please send money to purchase another one. They are only $7!
2. Your child was also sent home with their blue towel and swimsuit; please have it washed and returned to camp on Monday so we can all continue in our water activities!
Here a just a few of the fun things we got to do last week!
We got to go to Crockett Park on a field trip on Tuesday which was very sweet; we played on the huge playground and learned how to play hopscotch! The boys really enjoyed it! On Wednesday we had name day. All of the campers wore name tags, and we played lots of games to learn each others names, going along with Mrs. Gwen’s charge to grow in our connection with God first and then one another. Every day at the end of the day our tribe circles up and we go over answered prayers or blessing from the day. All of the boys always have one and it so sweet to see them going to God and then getting their prayers answered or being blessed for obedience! It so much fun to work with your boys, and I can’t believe we are already half way through the summer! Please continue to keep us in your prayers as we put Mrs. Gwen’s words into practice and follow Jesus’ example!
