We cannot believe that it is Week 5 already! We have been having the most fun this summer and this time has flown!
Last week was SO blessed, we were so busy and got to do so many different things.
Highlights included:
*Devo from Ms Gwen!!! Lots of teaching and time to read God’s word. Also had guest musicians, Mr. Michael Shamblin and Mr. David Martin… What a treat!
*Awesome Quiet times – talked about getting more of God’s characteristics and also looking for ways to serve at home. After talking to some of you I know the boys are taking this to heart and hopefully you have all had some special chores done for you!
*Taking a walk out to the Remnant Fellowship Garden and got to pick some of the bounty. We took them in the kitchen and Ms. Tiffani prepared a feast for the boys to taste, fresh tomatoes from the garden with fresh herbs and blackberries with a touch of sugar… The boys LOVED it!
*We had water play, a special “Name Game” afternoon, gymnastics, snacks, lots of free play, Four Square, Knock- Out and plenty of rest
*We learned a fun song about butterflies ( please ask your boys to sing it for you)
* We worked very hard on sitting still during our morning Devo – I showed them how to sit quietly and attentively and they taught me the saying “Criss Cross Applesauce , hands in your lap” – Ask them to show you! This week we are looking to excel at Devo time – The Tribe of Benjamin wants to be the best behaved Tribe in camp!
* A Big Thank you to the Tribe of Gad for giving our boys the “GOO” that they made… Quite a hit with the boys, I hope it made it home!
*Another Big Thank you to Adam and Corrie Barnhart for spending a week of Vacation with our tribe.. We will miss them and Hudson!
These boys are so sweet and we are very blessed to get to spend time with them!
This week will bring 2 field trips and plenty more activities – Please keep praying for us!

What a super fun summer so far! Thank you Heather, Rhonna, and Tiffani for all you are doing. We are all SO grateful and blessed by your generosity of love and time. You all are amazing examples to these boys of the characteristics of Christ. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!
The Barnhart family, and especially Hudson, want to give a HUGE THANK YOU to the very sweet Tribe of Benjamin!! We had an absolute BLAST hanging out with you sweet boys and wonderful counselors all week!!! Thank you to Miss Heather, Miss Tiffani, Mr. Dominic, Miss Ellen, Mr. Pauly, Mr. Garrett and Mr. Julian for taking such good care of us!! (I hope I got all the names correct!!) 🙂 We all learned so much and have been practicing our “criss-cross applesauce hands in your lap” at home during worship services – so thank you so much for that great teaching!! What an amazing blessing from God that we could come spend time with you all and get to know you better. And thank you for your shout out this Thursday – such a great opportunity to be able to watch Thursday morning devos with you all – we are so spoiled by God!!!
