Ever wonder what people do in the Archives Department??? It is a truly special opportunity!
The team members serve by transcribing and reviewing transcripts of sermons and seminar lessons. We also have a team of people who go back through transcripts to look for key words and/or create outlines of the script. The transcripts that the Archives Team produce are being used to create a dynamic, searchable, retrievable, library of data, which is putting TRUTH in the hands of God’s people and exiles everywhere! The team does vitally important work, and this is an endeavor which is near and dear to Gwen and the Weigh Down staff. The Production Team needs to have the audio/video presentations transcribed accurately and in a timely manner. They need to be able to pull these transcripts off the shelf at any given time, since they use them daily in their work to get God’s words – through Weigh Down Ministries – out to the Remnant and to the world.
The Archives Team is an essential part of the production process, taking spoken lessons and typing and editing them to make them available in book form.
This is a blessed and incredibly fun calling! It is such a privilege to hear and transcribe these incredible and historical words, which are setting the captives free!
